There is no doubt that everyone experienced change in 2020. As I look back in time, I know that for me, there was quite a lot of self-reflection.
I took the time to try to understand and listen to my body’s needs and pay close attention to what was (and was not) contributing to my mental health and physical wellness.
It is a work in progress.
I am a work in progress.
I’ve been reading a lot about positive affirmations and how they can help increase one’s self-esteem. I started with simple, yet powerful statements that have contributed to my mental health wellness. I share them daily (truthfully, almost daily) with my family.
Positive affirmations refer to the practice of positive thinking and self-empowerment through repeating positive statements or phrases to yourself. Positive thinking contributes to a more fulfilling life due to a positive mental attitude. (should I say positive one more time?)
I have put these statements (positive affirmations) into little image cards and I thought to share them with you, in case you too, found them helpful.
